In addition to leaving you with smooth hairless skin, there are many additional benefits to laser hair removal.

PRE TREATMENT CARE
- Shave the treatment area either the day before or the night before your appointment. Avoid using other hair removal methods such as waxing or plucking.
- Please ensure your skin is free from any products, including moisturisers, creams, oils, deodorant, perfume, or makeup.
- Avoid applying fake tan to the treatment area for at least 10 days before your session.
- If you’re having your face treated, avoid heavy exfoliation, facial peels, or acids for at least 7 days before your session.
- For optimal results, avoid exposing the treatment area to the sun for 3-4 weeks prior to your session. This includes avoiding sunbeds. The more active tan your skin has, the less effective the treatment will be, and it increases the risk of burning.
- Please inform us if you are pregnant, as we will need to reschedule your appointment until 3 months after pregnancy and breastfeeding.
- Let us know about any new medications at least 1-2 weeks before your session.
POST TREATMENT CARE
- Avoid any activities that generate heat for 24-48 hours after your treatment. This includes exercise, saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs, swimming, hot baths, and showers. Use only lukewarm water.
- Apply aloe vera gel for 48 hours following your session to help soothe the treated area.
- We recommend keeping the treated area free from all products including perfume, makeup, and creams for 24 hours after treatment. This helps ensure optimal healing and minimises the risk of skin irritation.
- Avoid sun exposure and sunbeds for 3-4 weeks following your treatment. Use SPF 50 daily if you are out during sunnier months.
- Seven days after treatment, begin exfoliating the treated area 2-3 times per week until your next session. This helps hair shed naturally.
- Do not shave, scratch, or itch the treated area for 48 hours post-session.
- Stick to shaving only. Avoid all other forms of hair removal throughout your course of laser treatment.
- Wear loose, comfortable clothing for at least 24 hours after your session. Allow the treated area to breathe, as heat should not be generated on the freshly lasered skin.
- Avoid any type of peel such as glycolic, vitamin A, or retinol products on the treated area for 1-2 weeks before and after your treatment.
